When the artist makes books for children (or: when the book is art) I and II
For many artists, a book is a space to experiment with both the construction of dialogues and the exchanging processes involving writing, painting, photography, sculpture and the drawing process. These “conversations” happen in the pages of the book – place of journey and creation also for the reader. It´s in these pages that secrets are revealed. In each reading, the pace and paths are determined by the reader from suggestions given by the author. The focus of these meetings are the artistic books for children and its development processes, inquired in practical and theoretical activities, involving sessions of reading, reflecting and creation.
Duration: three meetings of 2h30 per unit of course.
